Creative Director
As Creative Director for Thinkwell, Chris guides and directs the creative concept development of all Thinkwell projects. He has developed a vast spectrum of guest experience concepts for a variety of venues including science museums, water parks, restaurants, hotels, aquariums, stadiums, theme parks and anywhere else you might find themed entertainment.
Chris’ earliest experience in themed entertainment was on stage as a performer and stunt man for Universal Studios Hollywood, starting with Conan: A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular. Chris moved behind-the-scenes as Creative Director for the studio where he spent the next fifteen years developing shows and attractions including the Wild West Stunt Show, Flintstones: A Musical, The Special Effects Stages, and many seasonal events including Halloween Horror Nights and the Annual Holiday Parades.
His background in theatre and improvisational comedy organically led to sketch writing for the comedy show “Quick Wits” with alumni from the US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway, then to developing shows and attractions for a variety of clients including Mattel, Knott’s Berry Farm, Marineworld, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, Paramount Parks, Cedar Fair, Nickelodeon, and Dreamworks SKG.
Since joining Thinkwell, Chris has overseen the development of the traveling museum exhibit Sesame Street Presents: The Body, which is currently touring the United States, and the master plan of MGM Studio City; a movie theme park, along with many other projects.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Florida State University in Theater.
