Principal/Chief Creative Officer
Craig is a writer, filmmaker and storyteller with over 20 years expertise in the creation of compelling experiences and environments. As Chief Creative Officer he serves as the creative conscience on every Thinkwell project, directing the creative development of each project from inception through opening day. His experience in master planning and attraction development spans a variety of world-class projects, including the Warner Bros. theme park in Abu Dhabi, The Tussauds Group, Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry, Shedd Aquarium, Lotte, Harrah’s (Caesars) Entertainment, Sesame Workshop and more.
Prior to founding Thinkwell Craig was a creative executive at Universal Studios, where he served as Creative Director of the company’s regional theme park prototype, developed for a variety of international locations. In addition to master planning numerous nontraditional, innovative theme parks that remain confidential, Craig is probably best known for pushing the envelope in the creative design of three Thea Award-winning attractions: Men in Black: Alien Attack at Universal Studios Florida, Templo del Fuego at PortAventura, and the nighttime spectacular FiestAventura, also at PortAventura.
Craig is the holder of three attraction patents, is an honored member of the Wired magazine “Brain Trust,” and co-created the first rideable simulation video game. He is also the Immediate Past President for the TEA International Board, the professional association “representing the creators of compelling places and experiences.”
