Atlanta, Georgia
Looking to improve their on-camera image during televised interviews, the Atlanta Falcons asked Thinkwell to help establish a visual presence that would set the team apart from the other teams in the NFL. Thinkwell designed and implemented a turnkey broadcast makeover including lighting packages, a custom podium and innovative backdrops, augmenting the intensity of the team’s image and eliminating the standard “Step and Repeat” sponsorship banner.
For the 2004 season opener, the Atlanta Falcons turned to Thinkwell to design and produce their first Ring of Honor Ceremony, commemorating four of the team’s legendary players: William Andrews, Steve Bartowski, Tommy Nobis and Jessie Tuggle. The halftime show featured the dramatic raising of four two-story banners that remain flown in honor within the Georgia Dome.
Thinkwell returned to the Georgia Dome to produce the second Ring of Honor ceremony in October of 2006. Accompanied by music and pyrotechnics, a two-story hanging banner featuring former Falcons center Jeff Van Note was unveiled at halftime before a capacity crowd. All scenic elements were designed, produced and installed by Thinkwell.
