For Ethel M Chocolates’ (the makers of M&M’s) public relations firm, Breakwhitelight, Thinkwell produced a one-of-a-kind live press event to celebrate the 65th birthday of M&M’s and the opening of its new retail store on Broadway. We took New Yorkers of all shapes and sizes, dressed them in bathing suits and shorts, air-brushed their bodies in the bright, highly recognizable colors of the M&M’s candies, and sent them on a frenzied jaunt in 36 degree F weather through the crowded streets of Times Square.
Thinkwell and Breakwhitelight were awarded the Gold Ex Award for “Best Press Event (Consumer/Mass Media)” by Event Marketer Magazine.
