FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE— JANUARY 5, 2010 (Burbank, CA) – The USC Thorton School of Music celebrated its 125th anniversary in a night filled with celebrity appearances, musical performances, and holiday cheer with the help of Thinkwell. For the annual Charles Dickens Dinner, Thinkwell’s dedicated team transformed the Crystal Ballroom at the downtown Millennium Biltmore Hotel into a wintry landscape befitting the Victorian era. The company’s management of the show and festivities ensured the success of the event, which took place December 11th, 2009.

On June 18th, 2009 Thinkwell Chief Creative Officer Craig Hanna served as a panelist at the Design/Management/Brand 21 Conference Re-Thinking Design for virtual and physical experiences along with Terry Dobson, Creative Lead, Advanced Projects from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online. Moonlighting: Theme parks and resorts lure film designers
Whether they’re conceptualizing five-star Persian Gulf Zanadus in between film jobs or designing immersive retail landscapes on the side, film designers have proved themselves to be adept moonlighters. Some of them take sabbaticals from moviemaking to envision the entertainment environments of the future.
Being sneezed on by a giant nose, pumping a heart, marveling at mucus, disco dancing and counting skeleton bones are just a few of the interactive activities geared for the 8-and-under set at “Sesame Street Presents: The Body.”
